I started my nursing career in the West Cumberland Hospital in Cumbria and after a few years,I left to raise my three boys. In 1982 I restarted my nursing career as a Practice nurse in Whitland, where I gained a lot of valuable clinical experience. I worked in the surgery for fourteen years.
I came to Williamston in March 1999 as R.G.N and became Deputy Matron in Feb 2007 before taking over as Matron Manager.
