Our service users are treated as individuals and are encouraged to enjoy life at the Home and to maximise their intellectual, social and physical potential. We recognise that family and friends have an invaluable part to play in a service users well-being, and we encourage visits whenever possible.
All of our staff are appropriately qualified to ensure that we deliver the highest standards of care. Staff undergo continuous training and development of their skills and experience to ensure that we maintain these standards at all times.
We aim to provide our service users with the best possible quality of life in an environment which is clean, comfortable, safe and welcoming. We will treat each service user with respect and remain sensitive to his / her individual needs and abilities.
Dianna Hill has worked as a trained nurse for 25 years, training at the County War Memorial Hospital Haverfordwest. Once Dianna had completed her training she worked as an enrolled nurse on the medical unit at the old Withybush Hospital for several years.
Dianna also worked on the stroke rehab ward at Withybush hospital which prompted her interest in nursing the elderly. In 1998 Dianna left the N.H.S to work in a 35 bedded nursing home and whilst working there Dianna completed NVQ 4 Management, which enabled Dianna to then take up the post of Deputy Matron and then Manager of a 40 bedded EMI nursing home which she found very challenging and rewarding. In 2005 Dianna came to Williamston to work as part of the management team and continue to enjoy working with the elderly in the private sector.
We have an excellent team of highly trained professional care staff to look after you which are ably supported by other professional staff. We will treat each service user with respect and remain sensitive to his / her individual needs and abilities.
We have a mixture of single and double bedrooms, many offering en-suite facilities and all furnished to a high standard to ensure your comfort and safety. Some residents like to bring their own furniture to make them feel more like home, furniture is to be fire standard. There are bathrooms, showers and toilets on each floor.
We have communal lounges with TV / video / radio / music centre facilities. The Dining room is situated on the ground floor overlooking the garden.
